Link & QR Tool
Shorten your links and create premium QR codes
Need a free short link and QR code in one step?
Paste a long URL and get a short link plus a QR code in one click. Copy the link to share it, or download the QR code for print.
This free link shortener turns any long URL into a short link in the form alicetears.com/s/your-code, and generates a QR code for it at the same time. Want something memorable? Type your own code in the custom code field, such as /s/my-shop. Leave it blank and a short random code is assigned.
QR codes are generated as 1000 × 1000 pixel PNG files, sharp enough for posters, business cards, menus and slides. By default the AliceTears logo sits in the center of the code, and that version is free with no login. For a QR code without the logo, sign in and switch the logo off.
The destination must be a public http or https URL. Short links have no expiry date set, so the link and QR code keep working as long as the destination page is online. It's handy for shop links, sign-up forms, social posts and contact pages.
Once you create the link, the QR code preview and short URL appear on the same page. Copy the link straight into a post or chat, or download the QR code and drop it into your print file. It all takes a few seconds, with nothing to install and no extra service to sign up for.
How to use
- Paste the destination URL
- Optionally enter a custom code
- Choose whether to keep the AliceTears logo in the QR code
- Click create link
- Copy the short link or download the QR code as a PNG

Do I need an account?+
No, unless you want a QR code without the AliceTears logo. Removing the logo requires signing in.

Yes. Enter your own code in the custom code field, e.g. my-link becomes /s/my-link. If that code is already taken, try another.

Yes. The QR code downloads as a 1000 × 1000 pixel PNG, sharp enough for print, not just screens.
